DETAILS OF SAVINGS/FIXED DEPOSIT SCHEMES/ RECURRING DEPOSIT SCHEME
Saath Mahila Saving and Credit Co-operative provide an array of plans for investment purpose. Amongst them, the fixed deposit plans are the favourites. The interest rates are higher than any other financial institutions for the benefit of the investor.
Under this plan, the amount will be fixed for a period of one year. The interest will be given at the rate of 10% per annum. The minimum amount of deposit is INR 3,000 only. There is no maximum limit on the investment.
Under this plan, the amount will be fixed with a maturity period of two years. The interest will be given at the rate of 10.5% per annum. The minimum amount of deposit is INR 5,000 only. There is no maximum limit on the amount of deposit.
Under this plan, the investment amount will be doubled after the maturity. This means, the effective interest is given under this plan is around 12.25% per annum. The lock-in period is of 6 years. The minimum amount of investment is INR 3,000 only. There is no maximum limit on the amount of deposit.
Yatha Shakti is a recurring deposit scheme provided by the organization wherein the investor can deposit a minimum amount of INR 500 every month for a minimum period of 16 months. The interest will be given at the rate of 9% per annum. The investment can be extended further if the investor wishes to. There is no maximum limit on the amount of investment.
All the deposits enable us to help women in the rural areas for their development. We provide credit facility to them mainly for the following purposes.
a. Asset Creation: Asset purchase, house repairs and debt redemption
b. Productive: Establishment of micro-enterprises and enhancement of livelihoods
c. Consumption purpose: Health, education, social events etc.
Investor has the liberty to invest their amount for the specific purposes as mentioned above.
